08.20.23 Aviana And The Pure Root Awarded St. Louis Regional Arts Commission 2023 Artist Grant for Love Spells

Aviana And The Pure Root was awarded an Artist Support Grant from the St. Louis Regional Arts Commission. The grant is to support the completion of the Love Spells film project and to see the vision through by filming the next part of the film/visual album in Accra, Ghana as intended! Thank you so much to the Regional Arts Commission and to the city of St. Louis! We are so blessed to be experiencing such abundance and the belief in this art which is such important work. Our dreams of telling unique and dynamic stories about the Black experience are coming true. Continue to help us meet our goal for part 2 of this project by donating at here.

04.04.23 Thank You!/Love Spells Film Goes On

Thank you to everyone who donated to Love Spells film throughout our 60 days of fundraising on Kickstarter and then INDIEGOGO. We reached $5,080 of donations and are able to start filming the LA portion of the film in May!
